Ninth Wave launched the first version of our web-based programme and project management solution, PAT, in 2001.  Since then PAT has developed and evolved in a number of ways:

• gaining increased functionality
• incorporating scripting and active workflow
• interfacing with a range of different systems and file types
• becoming faster and more scalable

After studying the uses our customers have made of their PAT systems, Ninth Wave decided to rewrite the product from the ground up as a scalable enterprise solution.  To reflect its wider remit, the new product has been branded  'SmartCore'.
